推荐信提交步骤如下。第一步： 确认推荐信递交方式。
网上递交电子版还是邮寄纸质版根据学校的要求而定。一般在学校硕士申请要求介绍里面以及开通网申后的推荐信一栏学校都会清楚的'注明。为了节省材料审理时间，目前几乎所有学校都接受网上提交推荐信的这种提交方式。只有极个别学校要求申请者将纸质的推荐信邮寄到学校指定的地址。当然还有一种情况，就是当你网推这种方式因为某些未知原因而无法完成时，学校给出的解决办法一般有两种，一种是将推荐信发到指定邮箱; 另一种就是把纸质推荐信邮寄到给定的地址。
第二步： 推送推荐人信息，需在网申系统中完成。
目前都需要网上先将推荐人信息发送给学校，由学校系统统一给对应推荐人发送上传推荐信链接或寄送推荐信地址。所以在推送推荐人信息之前，需提前准备好推荐人相关信息：姓名、头衔、职务、工作单位、邮箱、****以及含邮编的地址，与申请者关系，认识时间等准备在word文档里。一般建议在网申开通后，截止日期前1个月内，就建议首选推送推荐人信息给学校，以便留够充足的时间给老师及时上传推荐信。避免因为推荐信不全，即使是截止日期后，学校也不会开始审理材料，而错过最佳审理时间。
第三步：上传或邮寄推荐信。
申请者需要尽快联系推荐人，请推荐人确认是否收到申请学校的邮件，并安排时间，建议在截止日期前完成推荐信的上传或邮寄。请申请者提醒推荐人准备一份PDF版和word版的该推荐人的推荐信，打印在带有推荐人工作单位抬头的空白信纸上，并有推荐人手签的正式的文件，另外部分学校网推中对于申请者各方面能力或素质的评估要根据推荐信中对申请者相关能力的推荐，两相结合来填写;推荐信中没有提及的其他能力的评价可以填的略低些或者无法评价;不要都是过分高的评分。
第四步：检查推荐信是否完成。
确认学校是否收到推荐信，避免由于推荐信不全学校无法审理材料。
