　多伦多天主教教育局(TCDSB)是加拿大安大略省国际教育局联盟的成员之一，和多伦多教育局、渥太华卡尔顿教育局、滑铁卢教育局等同属于安省国际教育联盟。加拿大第二大教育局。TCDSB位于加拿大最有动力的城市多伦多市区，下辖学校共有201所，学生总数超过93,000多名，全部配备现代化的教学、实验设施，学习条件十分优越。有32所公立高中招收国际留学生，开设完整的ESL课程、AP课程、IB课程等。

　多伦多地区的公立学校分天主教学校和普通公立学校两种。教学内容和程度也与普通公立学校无异。但天主教学校因为背景原因，学校管理较严格，学习风气好，且对国际生没有宗教信仰方面的要求，学生素养，教学质量都比普通公立学校相对优秀。

　课程介绍

　在中学的各个学科均有不同课程可供选择。在每一学科内，学生可依个人兴趣作进一步的专业学习。加拿大所有的英语系统大学均要求学生有极高的英语能力，因此在选择学习课程时，学校有许多可供选择的科目，包括：英语、生物、历史、地理、物理、化学、数学、经济、电子、会计、商业、法律、音乐、戏剧、家政、国际语言(有中文)、市场学、电脑及科技、古典学、视觉艺术、体育及健康教育、英语作为第二语言(ESL)。

　9年级和10年级的课程主要分为四大类：学术类、应用类、普通类、开放类。11年级和12年级的课程则依据学生未来的志向分为五类：就业准备(E)、学院准备(C)、大学/学院准备(M)、大学准备(U)、普通科目(O)。

　TCDSB有三十二所公立高中招收国际学生，开设完整ESL课程、AP、IB课程等，每一所高中都各有特色。目前国际生数量约300人左右。

　1、ESL课程：?英语作为第二语言?(English as a Second Language)。大部分学校都有ESL课程，程度从A至E分5级，ESL与高中其他课程同时进行，根据学生的英语水平安排相应的课程，这些课程都是不收费的。
